Bio - Past President

The current Past President of DTDA, Michelle served two years as President and 2nd Vice President in charge of Exhibit Hall. She also assisted for numerous years on the Fashion Show Committee. She is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University (Texas State) with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science with an emphasis in Dance and Health and certification in secondary education. Michelle is also a former Southwest Texas Strutter and the current director of the Wylie HS Pirate Pacesetters in Wylie, TX. She is the former director of the Boswell HS Pure Gold Dance Team. Michelle’s honors include Who’s Who Among America’s High School Teachers, National Honor Roll Outstanding American Teachers and 2003 & 2005 Top Ten Directors of America. She is a senior staff member for Showtime International and a member of TDEA. She lives in Frisco, Texas with her husband, Scott and daughter Samantha.
